Finance Intern-Summer 2023 & Beyond
Job Description
The selected Finance Intern will work closely with our Domestic Wholesale team on a variety of projects, including:
- Support the reconciliation of retail store cash and change funds processed through the cash management program ensuring funds are posted to the bank account timely and accurately. Help minimize loss by researching and troubleshooting where the process failed
- Validate, identify, follow-up and collaboratively resolve open sales audit issues for D2C business on a daily basis
- Assist with the preparation and accurate completion of D2C bank reconciliations
- Assist with Cost Accounting month-end close processes
- Process business license/ tax forms per monthly calendar
- Property tax return compliance
- Assist with other projects, financial reports, sales tax audits and analyses, as requested
Requirements
- In the process of pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or the equivalent required. GPA 3.0 or higher required. Must be Junior or Senior status
- Solid MS Office computer skills; advanced proficiency in MS Excel
- Excellent written/oral communication and organizational skills
- Excellent analytical and detail minded skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
- Ability to work 15-25 hours per week during the semester and 40 hours per week during the summer
