Finance Intern (Summer 2024)

Position Summary

Swank is seeking a Finance Intern to join our corporate office in Sunset Hills, MO. Successful candidates will be proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word as well as 10-key experience. Must possess accuracy in dealing with numbers, high attention to detail, prioritizing and multi-tasking, excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include:

• Invoicing
• Reconcile and apply customer payments for assigned accounts including lockbox and credit card receipts
• Research and communication with the internal sales staff
• Assist with credit card processing including declines or invalid cards, prepayments, application and charge backs and other special projects as assigned

Requirements

• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word as well as 10-key experience
• Accuracy and strong attention to detail
• Ability to meet assigned deadlines
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel
• Experience with AS400 system a plus
• Must have ability to multi-task and prioritize

Educational Requirements

• Must be actively enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited University (Major in Business or Accounting degree preferred)
• Minimum 3.0 GPA
