Overview
In June 2024, we will begin a new cohort of future leaders in our two-year Finance rotational program. These programs are designed to provide new college graduates with a broad exposure to this functional area of our business. Our aim is to expose you to a variety of functions within our business and allow you to learn, grow, and choose an area of focus as you offboard into a long-term career with Clarios.
What You Will Do
The rotational nature of this program is designed to accelerate your early career development in the organization, build a strong network, and prepare you for a career in Finance.
By allowing you to work across diverse projects with four or five rotational assignments, we aim to engage you in cross-functional job experiences and valuable networking opportunities with all levels of Clarios leadership. Assignments vary by business need, providing on-the-job learning with challenging deliverables. Upon completion, you can settle into a role that we mutually agree upon within our large organization. Your rotational experiences enable you to experience expedited career growth and new opportunities.
Program rotations: The program includes a one-year rotation as a plant financial analyst in one of our US plant locations. Additional rotations could include Commercial Finance, Operations Finance, FP&A, Audit/Governance, Controllership, Risk Management, Tax, Treasury and Technical Accounting.
Relocation: This program rotates participants within financial functions within Milwaukee, WI and one plant location so relocation for one year is required to fully participate.
Leadership Opportunities: As our employee in this program, we provide you with a variety of developmental opportunities in addition to your work assignments. These might include roundtable discussions with senior leaders, skill-building workshops, networking events, and community activities. How You Will Do It
Typical duties will vary by rotational assignment and may include responsibilities like these:
• Assisting in preparation of monthly management reports and presentations
• Executing timely and accurate preparation of all accounting/financial documents
• Identifying areas of improvement and taking action to implement change as agreed upon by management
• Preparing month end journal entries and related ad hoc analysis as need
• Assisting with forecasting and strategic plan efforts
• Compiling and reviewing forecasted results from the regions and working together with the regions to resolve unusual trends or findings
• Maintaining adequate back-up/support for key assumptions
What We Look For
• By the time the program begins in June 2024, we want participants to have completed their bachelor's degree in one of these disciplines: Finance, Accounting, Business or another quantitative field is required achieving at least a 3.0 minimum cumulative GPA.
• Prior leadership experience at work, internships, or extracurricular activity.
• Strong analytical ability to solve programs and ability to learn quickly.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and cross-functional teams with minimum guidance.
