Finance Manager

What's the role?

The Finance Manager II be instrumental in automating and improving the accuracy of our consolidated planning, forecasting, and reporting processes. This will enable them to create and maintain detailed business cases/financial models to support strategic objectives. An ideal candidate will have experience in optimizing finance processes for speed, agility, and insight. This will enable them to:

• Model, analyze and forecast metrics that drive budgeting, forecasting, and reporting excellence.
• Initiate, own, manage, and automate financial models that are used to set and measure key performance indicators and report on financial performance and develop cost-driver metrics

A successful candidate has strong oral and written communication skills, and will use them to:

• Develop a robust understanding of HERE, its products, markets, and internal organization to detect issues and address them with senior management
• Build relationships across the organization
• Use data to tell a story

Who are you?

Qualifications include:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related quantitiative/analytical field
• 5+ years of relevant experience in corporate forecasting and financial reporting
  • Hyperion Planning and Essbase tools preferred (Hyperion Planning, Workspace, Smart View, Financial Reporting Studio, MS Excel)
• Soft Skills:
  • The ability to remain flexible/agile and prioritize multiple projects/deliverables
  • Detail-focused, highly analytical orientation.
  • Demonstrated ability to think creatively to solve problems.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines

Candidates will need to be local to the Chicagoland area within a commutable distance to our downtown Chicago office upon hire. These roles follow a hybrid working model, combining on-site and in-office participation. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate candidates seeking 100% remote/work from home arrangements for this role at this time.
