The role, at a glance:

Biamp is seeking a highly skilled and experienced finance manager to join our team. The finance manager will assume the responsibility of overseeing the financial close process and ensuring the timely achievement of deadlines. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in managing comprehensive month-end close procedures across multiple companies and currencies and demonstrates strong leadership capabilities to effectively manage a general ledger team. The finance manager will play a pivotal role in managing audits, fostering collaboration with cross-functional teams on financial results and budgets, and actively contributing to the optimization of our finance systems and processes to ensure their efficient and effective functioning. 

How you'll contribute:

  • Manage the full scope month end close process across multiple companies and currencies, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial statements and related reports. 

  • Lead and supervise a general ledger team, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to ensure efficient and effective operations. 

  • Utilize expertise in ERPs and financial reporting tools to optimize system functionality and integration, streamlining financial processes and enhancing reporting capabilities. 

  • Oversee and manage the month-end balance sheet reconciliation process, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely resolution of reconciling items. Coordinate with various teams to identify and resolve discrepancies, implement controls, and improve reconciliation processes. 

  • Collaborate with auditors, providing necessary documentation and support during audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls. 

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to analyze financial results, identify variances and trends, and provide insights for decision-making and budgeting processes. 

  • Utilize the banking platform to enter, review, and approve financial transactions, ensuring accuracy, adherence to policies and procedures. 

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, providing financial expertise and guidance on matters related to budgets, forecasts, and financial performance.

A successful candidate should have:

  • Proven experience managing full-scope month-end close processes across multiple companies and currencies. 

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively. 

  • In-depth knowledge of ERPs, financial reporting tools, and system integration. 

  • Familiarity with audit processes and experience liaising with auditors. 

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to interpret financial data and provide meaningful insights. 

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels. 

  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy and the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines. 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel. 

Work environment: 

  • This is an onsite position based in Beaverton, OR.

  • Routine use of standard office equipment

  • Minimal travel (less than 10%)
