Finance Manager

JOB MISSION:

We’re looking for a Finance Manager to join our growing FP&A team here at Cohesity. Reporting to the Director of Finance & Business Support, this person will serve as a key contributor to the FP&A organization, working cross functionally to hone Cohesity’s forecast, metrics, systems, and analytics, and play a role in setting the company’s long-term financial direction.This is a perfect role for someone who has strong analytical and modeling skills and can build great partnership across the company.

How you’ll spend your time here:

• Lead the G&A function in financial planning and analysis and developing short and long range financial/operational forecasts and financial reports
• Be an integral part of the monthly financial close process by performing variance analysis and providing relevant insights to senior management. Investigate variances to understand trends, potential risks and opportunities and make adjustments to the forecast.
• Partner with your business partners to determine their reporting needs and support their growth initiatives
• Build out new and improve existing finance processes to ensure data integrity and efficient analyses
• Drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration, and commitment across multiple groups with competing priorities.

What you need to bring with you:

• Advanced skills in Excel and other financial planning and forecasting tools. Familiarity with Adaptive Insights and Netsuite tools are a plus.
• Solid overall business acumen including accounting/financial experience
• A curiosity to learn and take initiative to solve problems independently
• Strong critical thinking, organizational, interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to explain financial data to non-finance leaders
• Ability to coordinate multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet firm deadlines is a must
• Must have great problem-solving skills, be a self-starter, understand business issues and be able to clearly and concisely put together recommendations and implementation plans

Your Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in a high growth technology company.
