Nike Finance employees play a key role in that progress by identifying and capitalizing on opportunities to drive value for every Nike shareholder. They manage accounting and reporting for Nike's multi-billion-dollar global investment portfolio, debt and equity instruments, and other Treasury activities. They strategize, forecast, audit, analyze, budget, research and lead important decisions. Across Nike's diverse geographies and businesses, Finance employees deliver far more than just the numbers.
NIKE, Inc., Beaverton, Oregon. Develop end-to-end yearly revenue and gross margin plans aligned to long-term financial profitability objectives. Create long-range revenue and margin optimization targets and recommendations, including evaluation of actionable levers to drive revenue and margin improvements. Perform seasonal product assortment profitability analysis and identify drivers and drainers. Partner cross functionally with Merchandising on pricing strategy. Communicate key benchmarks while articulating key drivers within volume, cost, and price on a season-by-season basis. Conduct scenario analyses based on costs and macroeconomic factors to support decision making. Collaborate with a broad set of partners across Finance Business Planning, Marketplace and Product Finance, and Merchandising
Applicant must have a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Experience must include:
- P&L Management: build and manage long or short range financial business plans (e.g., budgeting and forecasting)
- Data Analysis
- Quantitative or qualitative analysis
- Development and deployment automation tools
- Project management, including defining project priorities and scheduling project deadlines
- Information gathering, information retrieval, and statistical analysis
- Financial analysis, financial modeling, or financial operations projects
- Presentation of financial data to relevant shareholders, such as senior management
- Business Management and Planning
- Portfolio management to achieve or exceed KPIs including revenue growth and productivity
- Manage large and complex data sets across multiple systems and sources
