Finance Manager

Hill House is seeking a Finance Manager responsible for monitoring the Company’s performance and influencing decision making for the areas under its scope.  The Finance Manager will be the reporting and detailed analytics lead for the Company and will be responsible for monthly, quarterly, and yearly reporting deliverables.  This position is full time and based at Hill House Home office in New York.  This role reports to the COO. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide integral support on key deliverables, including annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, strategic planning, and both internal and external business reporting
• Manage monthly closing and analysis for the company
• Proactive monitoring of yearly and monthly targets in collaboration with business partners Provide departments with monthly/quarterly reports and ensure that they stay within budget and any variances to plan are bridged and explained while risks/opportunities are identified
• Create and manage dynamic financial models, developing compelling outputs that track business metrics and performance on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis
• Collaborate closely with our Supply Chain team to support strategic planning and budgeting, understand key drivers of business performance, and interpret key themes and actionable items within our fulfillment and distribution network
• Collaborate with key partners to support strategic planning, understand key drivers of business performance, and identify opportunities and improve business results
• Perform ad-hoc financial analysis related to the current business or new projects
