Finance Manager, Accounting

Summary:

This position is responsible for ensuring an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end financial close. This role is also responsible for assisting with the timely reporting of all monthly financial information to the Board of Directors.

Job Responsibilities:

• Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger accounts
• Work with the Assistant Controller and Controller to ensure a clean and timely year-end audit
• Monitors and analyzes department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy
• Assist in the development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the department
• Provide training to new and existing staff as needed
• Support Assistant Controller and Controller with special projects and process improvements
• Other duties as assigned by Management

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Accounting plus 7+ years accounting experience
• Ability to multitask and meet assigned deadlines; highly detail oriented and organized in work
• Experience with NetSuite a plus
• Proficient in Advanced Excel functions including pivot tables
• Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively cross-functionally and with all levels of employees, management, and external advisors to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving, and deliver results
