Position Overview

Autodesk Construction Solutions (ACS) is looking for a trusted Financial Analysis Manager to join our Sales Finance team. This person reports directly to the Senior Manager of ACS Sales Finance and will own the ACS top line forecast and reporting. The candidate must demonstrate independence, excellence and integrity in decision making and business judgment. A strong knowledge of information systems, financial planning, accounting, strategic planning, risk assessment and business development is required, preferably in a software company. The right candidate for this role will demonstrate strong collaboration skills, financial aptitude, excellent business intuition, and the capability to work at multiple levels, including high level strategy and day-to-day financial details.

This Financial Analysis Manager will have frequent interactions and collaborate with ACS Sales teams, cross-functional finance teams, and enable optimal informed business decisions through strong, effective analysis and key business insights.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the weekly ACV and billing forecast for ACS Sales and actively participate in the annual business planning cycle
  • Own the ACS top line forecast submission to Worldwide Sales Finance in coordination with ACS Sales leaders and ACS Finance Business Partners
  • Utilize connected planning tools such as Anaplan to facilitate regular forecast submissions from the sales teams
  • Facilitate alignment of ACS forecasting and reporting processes into the Worldwide Sales Finance organization as part of integration roadmap
  • Drive automation of systems and processes, utilizing a framework of continuous process improvement
  • Contribute to the development of Power BI dashboards to promote automation of forecasting and reporting processes
  • Perform regular forecast analysis to ensure accuracy and best practices are met
  • Establish relationships with other groups such as Sales Ops, Renewals, Legal, Commissions, Revenue Accounting, Tax, etc. to support consistent forecast messaging across teams
  • Contribute to quarter end close cycle and other time-sensitive deliverables as needed
  • Act as fiduciary in the best interest of the company, free of conflicts of interest and with objectivity, integrity, and truthfulness

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (finance, business or accounting)
  • Minimum of 6 years of progressively responsible business & finance experience
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience providing financial, operational, and administrative support to high tech sales organizations
  • Strong detail orientation and focus on continuous process improvement
  • Articulate and concise with strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Influencing skills at various levels (staff, peers, superiors)
  • Ability to stay abreast of important details as well as distill knowledge into an easily communicable message is critical
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage tight deadlines
  • Ambitious and ability to learn quickly
  • Strong team player and leadership potential
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with teams across the globe
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel

Preferred Qualifications

  • Power BI experience
  • Experience with Anaplan and Salesforce
  • CPA or MBA

Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $102,900 and $166,540. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
