Finance Manager, FP&A

Overview

As the FP&A Finance Manager, you will report directly to the CFO and be the second finance hire. You will be the CFO’s right hand and play a pivotal role in driving Vartana's financial framework, infrastructure, and continued success. You will partner across various business verticals and collaborate with key stakeholders, including the Head of Sales, Capital Markets, Engineering, People, Account Management, Product, and more. 

Responsibilities

• You will drive quarterly and annual planning cycles across all vertical business units.
• Create Vartana’s financial infrastructure, including, but not limited to: budgeting, P&L statements, balance sheets, financial modeling, and additional reporting.
• Partner with department leads on key projects such as headcount planning, compensation plans and commission structure. 
• Work directly with the CFO to build the roadmap for 2025 budgeting and beyond.

Qualifications

• You have a four year bachelor’s degree and possibly a Masters or MBA degree.
• You have at least 5 years of experience working at a big bank, in-house corporation, or both, supporting FP&A.
• You are a strategic thinker who understands how to translate non-technical asks into financial modeling at an expert level.
• You are comfortable using SQL, possibly R or Python.
• You’ve worked at a fintech or in a similar industry and have been exposed to financial warehouse and securitization.
