There are 3 million people in the U.S. alone and one on three people with epilepsy are drug resistant. People with severe seizures have, on average, a shorter life expectancy and an increased risk of cognitive impairment particularly if the seizures developed in early childhood. VNS Therapy for DRE is delivered through a device that sends mild pulses to the vagus nerve at regular intervals throughout the day in an effort to prevent seizures.

The Finance Manager is a critical partner for the U.S. Epilepsy business supporting revenue growth and expense management by providing the financial acumen and needed information to leaders, ensuring the overall success of this major component of the LivaNova portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Participates in discussions with business leaders to establish strategic plans and objectives
• Provides regular analysis and visibility to track progress toward business goals and stewardship of resources
• Completes annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting exercises, making recommendations to management
• Manages the P&L, explaining variances to budget and forecasts and identifying focus areas for needed actions
• Contributes financial perspective to commercial projects and initiatives

Qualifications

• College degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or Economics required
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
• Ability to think critically and analytically
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management
• Ability to meet deadlines and work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong Excel skills and experience with analytical features such as pivot tables
• Experience with SAP ERP systems
• Experience with OneStream a plus
