Finance Manager - Software Engineering

Atlanta, GA

Position responsibilities:

• Build and manage Financial reports for the SW Finance organization and supporting Financial operations.
• Manage processes and support for Month close, forecasting and planning activities.
• Provide financial support and insights to the Commerce Engineering organization
• Working closely with the Engineering managers and the Finance organization to achieve financial alignment, advising, resolving issues, cost analysis, workforce optimization, ramp-ups etc.
• Supporting consistent metrics/processes across CTO Finance/Operations teams, and enabling process transformation/improvement in support of these changes
• Support the annual financial planning process for SW Engineering team
• Support effective HC/contractor planning within budget constraints
• Ad-hoc analysis and reporting as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance or other related Business discipline
• 4-5 years of related experience
• Strong analytical skills, ability to research issues to solve problems
• Strong Excel capabilities (i.e. Pivot tables, Smartview, etc.)
• Detail oriented with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
• Ability to work in a Global environment
• Ability to work well with others to effectively exchange information and coordinate efforts to accomplish organizational goals
• Must be able to adjust and work effectively in a dynamic, changing environment
• Excellent written and oral communication skills including ability to communicate effectively across all levels of management
• Experience in a decision support function role, or as a corporate expert/specialist

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's Degree
• Skill using Anaplan, Tableau, Essbase, Business Objects or related planning/reporting tools/applications
• Project Management Experience
• Experience in supporting a software engineering organization
• Experience working in business operations/support within global environment - data analytics, planning and budgeting - strongly preferred
