The Impact You Will Have This person will directly support management with any escalations or urgent matters; including training and mentoring of peers. Responsible for the ongoing analysis and preparation of receivable reports according to the specifications and frequency of internal and external clients. Activities include, but are not limited to, monitoring collection activities and cancellation processes, discrepancy resolution, write-off recommendations, escheatment processes, relationship building, and adherence to local and global policies.
Some of your specific responsibilities could include:
- Monitor receivable management activities by analyzing large groups of data, presentation of metrics and training on changes to processes, procedures, and workflows.
- Assist with various reporting, projects, ledger reconciliations that may require monthly journal postings and processes as assigned to comply with regulatory reporting and accounting principles.
- Governance, quality assurance and documentation of processes, procedures and workflows. This would include, but not limited to, process improvements, simplification and automation.
- Accurate and timely analysis of receivable reporting to identify patterns, explain changes in aging balances, and other analysis as needed.
- Assist with training and on boarding of new hires
- Set the market standard of excellence in all touch points with both internal and external customers.
- 3-5 years experience in Billing and Collections, Insurance Operations or Accounts Receivables experience
- Proven understanding of accounts receivable practices and principles
- Ability to identify patterns and root causes in data, processes to rapidly identify issues and provide insight in various situations
- Ability to understand, elaborate and convey information clearly and effectively in respect to the audience (desk level to executives)
- Ability to manage projects to include planning, risk identification management of resources, monitoring and reporting
- Computer literacy required; Strong knowledge of MS Office 365 (Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) to effectively communicate, analyze data and convey results
- Accounting, Finance, or Business degree
The annualized base pay range for this role is $55,000 - $85,752. The annual base salary range represents a nationwide market range. The actual salary for this position may be above and will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role, the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate. The base pay is just one component of the AzC total compensation package.
