We are seeking a highly motivated, detail oriented, self starter to join our Finance team. The Finance Operations Analyst will actively contribute to organizational improvement by gathering and analyzing data, preparing reports, and supporting the accounting department.
ResponsibilitiesÂ
- Gathers, reconciles, and analyzes data required to prepare and distribute Monthly Servicer Report (MSR), securitization loan tapes, servicer certificates and statements to noteholders, compliance certificates, and other reports to all related parties.
- Works with Finance Operations Manager, data team, and servicing to automate reconciliation processes.
- Serves as a liaison to the accounting department to reconcile loan roll transactions and related GLs on financial statements. Assists audits requests, investigates reconciliation and roll errors.
- Develops cash<>merchant processor reconciliation process and oversees merchant processor<>MSR reconciliation. Uses findings to provide guidance to servicing and accounting departments.
- Prepares and analyzes monthly data package to ensure financial data remains clean. Compares month to month findings to confirm that all material changes to data are corrected or reasonable.Â
- Investigate and review origination reconciliation variances sent by the accounting team. Inform the servicing and funding team of any action items to fix variances.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Data or Business
- 1-2 years in any combination of the following: accounting, finance, data, loan servicing, other reconciliation roles
- Advanced knowledge in excel
- Willing to develop querying skills. Existing SQL skills preferred
- Attention to detail, trends, and ability to investigate abnormalities
- Great collaborative and communication skills
Compensation: The role described above offers a base salary of $60,000 to $100,000. Your offer will be based on the alignment of your qualifications with the requirements of the job and internal equity. In addition to the above-mentioned salary, Total Rewards include a stock option package, and benefits as outlined below.
