Finance Operations Analyst

Job Summary

The Finance Operations Analyst is responsible for working directly with leadership to assist with daily company operations. This position will focus on developing and maintaining operational procedures with high level analytical thinking.

Location: In office in Irving, Texas (8500 Freeport Pkwy Irving Texas 75063)

Essential Functions

• The essential functions listed represent the major duties of this role, additional duties may be assigned.
• Provide analysis and metrics to support clients:
  - Primary focus on continuous improvement to support needs and demands of clients.
  - Update process and procedures and assist with implementation to teams as requested by Leadership.
  - Assess situations quickly utilizing "out-of-the-box" thinking and and propose short-term solutions and long-term
  strategic plans to improve processes.
  (30%)
• Address points of escalation by identifying root cause and analysis related to the day-to-day operations with Customer Service, Eligibility Claims Processing and other areas impacting Operations. (15%)
• Generate reports based on metrics and data to identify trends and strategically partner with department leaders on communications with clients and teams with a focus on current triggers including processes, procedures, and impact. (10%)
• Enable growth and capabilities of Operations through streamlining processes and systems. (15%)
• Prepare monthly invoices, checklists, and customer reporting as requested by Leadership. (10%)
• Prepare reconciliations on client accounts; Identify and resolve reconciling balances. (10%)
• Participate in calls and meetings as requested with clients and leadership and serve as a Subject Matter Expert in order to make necessary decisions. (10%)

Qualifications

Required Work Experience

2+ years related work experience.

Experience Details: Minimum 2 years of accounting, finance or related experience

Required Education

Related Bachelor's degree required B.S. or B.A. in Engineering, Math, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, or MIS is required.

Additional Required Qualifications

Advanced knowledge and significant experience working in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.

Strong oral and written presentation/communication skills.

Comfortable working across operational areas within the organization, and in direct contact with clients.

Must handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately.

General Physical Demands

Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally to move objects. Jobs are sedentary if traversing activities are required only occasionally.

No supervisory/management experience required

Physical/Environmental Activities

Must be able to travel to multiple locations for work (i.e. travel to attend meetings, events, conferences). Occasionally
