What you’ll focus on

As our next Finance Operations Associate, you will be focusing on supporting the financial administration and bookkeeping for our international operations. You will be reporting to Accounting Manager.

You’ll also be responsible for: 

● Daily posting of bank statements
● Registering incoming invoices and ensuring that invoices are paid on time
● Ensuring that incoming emails are answered/forwarded in the Finance mailbox on daily basis
● Making weekly payment runs
● Booking Prepayments 
● Posting regular accrued items
● Posting monthly payroll journal entries
● Processing expense reports
● Preparing and submitting VAT returns
● Assisting with month-end closing
● Supporting with auditing
● Other common activities

What you’ll bring

● You will ideally have a degree or qualification in finance and 1-2 years of experience in accounting
● Impeccable written and spoken communication skills, with exceptional professional fluency in English and Dutch ( Not mandatory)
● Affinity for technology (systems, excel, Gsheets)
● A solutions focussed mentality with the ability to see the mystery behind numbers, and have that eye for detail
● Experience of building strong relationships with customers and delivering excellent customer service.
