Finance Operations Specialist

We are looking to add a well-organized, detail-oriented individual to our team who will support the Firm’s Financial Accounting department.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver excellent customer/client service skills via phone and email to address potential issues or resolve invoicing/payment matters
• Process supplier invoices and purchase orders with accurate GL and cost center coding, with close attention to detail
• Communicate effectively with other employees in the organization to ensure supplier invoices are approved and authorized for payment
• Maintain control over recurring payments to maintain continuity of services and avoidance of late charges
• Collaborate with finance partners to process and issue partner invoices 
• Handles communication with vendors and partners regarding invoices, payments, billing, receipts, and other follow-ups and inquiries as necessary
• Manages the AP and AR inboxes; ensures all vendor, partner, and employee inquiries are resolved promptly
• Maintain vendor and partner records; ensure all compliance documentation is received; assist with issuance of 1099s
• Review and process company-issued credit cards; communicate and follow up with employees as needed
• Provide cross-functional support to team members and other employees; assistance with annual audit
• Perform relative account reconciliations related to month-end close
• Own processing of vendor invoices

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred
• Demonstrates a strong work ethic, with proficient time management and organizational skills
• Experience with Netsuite is preferred
• Excellent communication skills: verbal, written, and interpersonal
• Intermediate to Advanced Excel, Outlook, and Word
• Capable of multitasking with excellent follow-up skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy, conscientious, professional demeanor, and reliability
• Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
• Able to collaborate with onsite and remote colleagues
