Job Description
The successful candidate will be part of the Internal Controls & External Reporting team within the Global Securities Services product control team in Argentina, the team plays an instrumental role in the management of the global team against the Firm's control frameworks, provides oversight and guidance to assist the team to ensure a robust control environment is maintained, coordinates and reviews external reporting deliverables, provides business advisory and accounting support and performs analysis of the financial results to the business as well as senior CIB stakeholders.
The role is suitable for a candidate with a track record of insightful analysis, who is keen to learn and operate in a constantly improving environment, and able to work on own initiatives and deliver results.
Examples of responsibilities:

  • Controls
    • Coordinate team responsibilities / actions to support Compliance with applicable Policies, Standards and Procedures.
    • P&L, Risk and Volcker Controls
    • Business Resiliency Planning
    • Tooling, Standard Operating Procedures, Record Retention Governance
  • External Reporting
    • Finance Representation Letter
    • US External Reporting coordination, validation & review
    • Local External Reporting coordination validation & review
    • CAP Exceptions management
    • Coordinate Financial Regulatory Attestations
    • Resolution & Recovery Plans, ensure accuracy of appendices and Plan submissions.
    • Legal Entity Booking Model coordination
    • Innovate to improve, standardise and simplify reporting processes using a control mindset.
  • Stakeholders and Influencing
    • Face off to multiple stakeholders across a variety of Securities Services business as well as Governance & Controls, CIB External Reporting, Legal & Compliance, Technology
    • Regular opportunity to present to immediate as well as wider team & senior stakeholders, developing communication, influencing and presentation skills


Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor Degree - Economics, Finance or related.
  • Advanced English
  • Enthusiastic and a self-starter, able to work independently with direction
  • Ability to work effectively, meet challenging deadlines and to work under pressure
  • Analytical and quantitative aptitude - ability to identify and solve problems independently
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Good financial product knowledge
  • Strong technical skills (Advanced Excel)
  • Proactive and willing to accept responsibility
