This Finance Program Manager (PMO) is responsible for leading our Global Finance Transformation Program Management Office. This role will focus on driving increased strategic business value for nVent through the deployment of Agile and by providing structure, governance, and oversight to the global Finance Transformation portfolio through PMO standard processes. This role will also work closely with other nVent functions and functional PMO resources to achieve objectives and drive collaboration.

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

  • Lead the Finance Transformation project portfolio. Responsible for supporting assigned finance transformation initiatives and the successful achievement of related strategic and financial objectives.
  • Support digital solution/process transformation initiatives from start to end (project initiation and charter, project plan/timeline, requirement gathering, requirements sign-off, communication plan, change management plan, UAT, training, rollout to end-users, post-go-live support).
  • Drive and support the use of standard project management and Agile methods (Agile planning and ceremonies, traditional project management including risk, budget, contracts, etc.) and tools (e.g., Jira) across all Finance Transformation projects.
  • Define standard project metrics and reporting requirements. Provide regular project status and financial reporting for leadership and other key stakeholders.
  • Maintains timely communications and strong partnership relationships between internal functions (e.g., finance departments, IT, HR) and external vendors as needed ensuring coordination of project details/changes, planned execution strategy, and change management to minimize cost and delay throughout project phases.
  • Responsible for assessing return on investment and alignment to the improvement of finance processes, including case development, budget, and project timelines.

YOU HAVE:

  • Bachelor's Degree is required.
  • 7+ years' of related experience including at least five years of project management experience.
  • 3+ years' experience with Agile frameworks (SAFe Agile preferred).
  • Strong project management skills including a demonstrated ability to plan, schedule, organize, coordinate, manage, evaluate, and adjust resources, work effort, and cost.
  • Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills, and change management skills.
  • Ability to lead teams (tasks /accountability) that are not direct reports.
  • Ability to "course correct" and quickly mitigate project risk.
  • Past experience leading complex, cross-functional projects.
  • PMP Certification preferred.
  • Knowledge and fluency in Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel, etc.) and Project reporting/scheduling software (Jira preferred).
