Title: Finance Senior Analyst
Location: Atlanta, GA (hybrid)
Position Summary & Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Analyzes financial statements, describes variances, and develops meaningful models for interpretation; propose action plans for improvement.
- Gathers and validates financial data used to assess results for various functions and proposes solutions to improve data integrity and business efficiency, effectiveness, and cost savings to corporate entities.
- Creates and maintains numerous executive dashboards and reports.
- Assists with the global budgeting, planning, and forecasting processes and analyzes trends in key metrics and drivers as part of monthly review of actual financial results.
- Prepares monthly/quarterly variance analysis process (forecast to actual, year over year, and sequential comparisons).
- Assists with the development of strategic analyses for priorities set by senior management.
- Summarizes analysis, proposals, and conclusions in succinct presentations senior management.
- Results-oriented performance; enhances job knowledge via educational opportunities, personal networks, and professional development.
- Other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in finance and/or accounting field
- 5+ years of relevant business analytics experience
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office suite with advanced Excel skills (i.e., Macros, Pivot Tables)
- Experience with Oracle ERP, Atlas, Hercules, Hyperion and Essbase or similar ERP/EPM applications
- Proficient in database management with low learning curve in adapting to new systems/tools
- Strong professional work ethic, with a focus on ownership and execution
- Experience extracting, analyzing data in databases and business intelligence tools (e.g., ERP, Power BI, Atlas); data visualization
- Intermediate analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills; solid execution skills
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to effectively review and provide an accurate, well-organized deliverable in a time-conscious fashion
- Ability to process financial data and develop analytical reports and reconciliations. Ability to think strategically and consider broader implications of various alternatives
- Ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks and meet critical deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality
- Excellent grammar, written, and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- CFA designation a plus
