About the role:

As a Finance Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and enhancing the organization’s financial processes. Your key focus will be ensuring accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and providing strategic financial insights to support decision-making. This role involves overseeing financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and maintaining internal controls, all with an emphasis on improving operational efficiency. Proficiency in QuickBooks is essential for optimizing accounting workflows and ensuring precise financial reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the development and monitoring of the annual budget and financial forecasts.
  • Conduct variance analysis and financial modeling to inform business strategy.
  • Track key financial metrics and provide actionable recommendations to senior management.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely reconciliations.
  • Oversee the daily use of QuickBooks for accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger management.
  • Ensure accurate data entry and maintenance of financial records within QuickBooks.
  • Optimize the use of QuickBooks reporting tools to create customized financial reports.
  • Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy.
  • Support internal and external audit processes, providing documentation and reports as needed.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Monitor expenses and manage cash flow to maintain financial stability.
  • Analyze cost structures and recommend improvements to enhance profitability.
  • Assist in pricing strategies, cost reduction initiatives, and profitability analysis.
  • Work with department heads to provide financial insights and support for operational decisions.

This might describe you:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 1 year of experience in finance, accounting, or controlling roles, preferably in marketing agencies.
  • Proven experience with QuickBooks (Online), including financial reporting and general ledger functions.
  • Prior experience with audit, tax compliance, and financial systems is an advantage.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial reporting standards (GAAP/IFRS).
  • Strong proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and handle multiple tasks.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Location & Details:

You’ll be working in our office located in Kaunas. This is a full-time role.

Compensation:
1,500-3,500 EUR a month, depending on experience, with opportunities for growth as the company expands.
