As a Finance Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of the billing department. This position will be responsible for collecting pertinent information, communicating with clients, staff, and insurance companies, and providing superior customer service. You will handle invoicing, providing financial breakdowns to customers, and payment processing.

Responsibilities:

• Process and coordinate customer payments
• Sort, organize, and audit incoming invoices
• Confirm and schedule payment amounts to be sent to carriers
• Verify accounts/endorsements are funded
• Track return premiums/pending cancellations
• Coordinate and maintain records for invoices
• Coordinate with customers and clients regarding payment status
• Review workflows and processes regarding invoicing
• Support and back up other accounting functions as needed
• Answer all e-mail and telephone requests promptly
• Support staff in assigned team-based work
• Being a liaison between finance companies and insureds/customer facing employees

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
• Strong communication skills 
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Team player with multi-tasking and prioritizing abilities
• Proficiency in MS Office skills and related computer knowledge
