Finance Technology Business Partner

The purpose of the IT Functional Business partner role will be to be accountable for partnering with Mars Corporate Finance functions to improve process, products, systems, services, and software. This role will support Mars in bridging the functional knowledge gaps between business and IT, with overall goal to deliver efficiency gains and drive value creation for Mars.

What are we looking for?

• Functional experience in Finance systems (e.g. SAP), FPA, Controllership, Accounting (preferred)
• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Project management certification (preferred)
• Good technical expertise working with Finance technologies.
• Good knowledge of new and emerging technologies.
• Excellent knowledge of digital and agile methods - e.g. User Experience, Design Thinking, SCRUM, KANBAN.
• Comfortable working directly with business stakeholders; aligning different persona needs with differing perspectives.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, able to understand user needs and translate them into understandable and actionable requirements/scope.
• Experience with pre-project activity, partnering with delivery resource (project managers/scrum masters) to onboard them successfully into projects.
• Experience working in a matrix environment where creating collaboration and influence are required for generating results.
• Excellent written, oral, presentation, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
• Experience of supporting business change, testing and communication

What would be your key responsibilities?

• Creating detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities, and solutions
• Analyze the structure of the Corporate Finance functions, how they uses technology and what their goals are
• Defining and scoping business requirements and reporting them back to stakeholders
• Identifying business change initiatives or business problems that can be solved via technology
• Budgeting and forecast planning for new projects that have requirements scoped.
• Creating project plans and monitoring the progress through to completion
• Reporting and communicating with stakeholders in the organization to find out what they hope to achieve
• Make recommendations on ways improve existing processes completing analysis from a people, process, systems, and data perspective.
• Persuade internal and external stakeholders of the benefits of new technology or strategies
• Oversee the implementation of new technology and systems
• Run pre-project workshops to define scope of business requirements for new projects.
• Oversee the creation of SOW's and PO's related to approved projects.
• Responsible for managing the communication strategy e.g., Quarterly Newsletter
