The Opportunity:
This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in managing and optimizing financial operations for our entities in the Philippines and Singapore. If you are passionate about finance, meticulous in your work, and eager to contribute to a growing global organization, we would love to hear from you.
What you will do:
- Managing Local Books and Records for Singapore and Philippines: Overseeing and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Bank Account and Payment Management: Managing local bank accounts and payments in the Philippines, and establishing processes for the global AP team to handle and process invoices efficiently.
- Statutory Financial Reporting: Preparing and ensuring compliance with statutory financial reporting requirements for both Singapore and the Philippines, utilizing local accounting and audit firms.
- Sales Tax Compliance: Delivering sales tax returns and ensuring all necessary documentation adheres to local requirements. Also responsible for supporting local tax reporting and filing.
- Management Reporting: Producing and analyzing management accounts, performing balance sheet reconciliations, and providing insightful management reporting for the group.
- Financial Administration and Operations: Pioneering role in Manila involving financial admin and operations work. Should demonstrate a willingness to work meticulously across administrative tasks, handling responsibilities comprehensively from top to bottom.
- Other ad hoc projects: For example, ERP implementation support - assisting in the selection and implementation of a new ERP system to enhance financial processes and reporting capabilities.
Who you are:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is a must.
- Proven experience in financial accounting and reporting, preferably in a multinational environment.
- Experience working with local and international financial regulations and are proficient in managing financial operations across multiple jurisdictions.
- Strong knowledge of local financial regulations and statutory requirements in the Philippines and Singapore.
- Proficiency in financial management software and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail.

Compensation: Competitive pay and bonus eligibility

Working Hours: 1:00 pm to 10:00 pm PhST, Monday to Friday, Flexible Hybrid setup
