Financial Accounting Analyst (Hybrid - Flexible Options)

Broadridge is growing! We are seeking a Financial Accounting Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for upholding policies, procedures, systems, compliance, controls, and reporting as an individual contributor within the Global Asset Management Accounting Team. You will have functional accounting responsibilities for costs to fulfill client contacts and associated revenue, as well as costs and revenues related to client enhancements and internally developed software. Additionally, you will have certain other responsibilities in fixed assets and lease accounting.

We are made up of high performing teams that meet in person to learn and collaborate as needed. This role is considered hybrid, which means you'll be assigned to a Broadridge office and given the flexibility to work remote.

Responsibilities:

• Project accounting responsibilities inclusive of labor cost tracking and reporting
• Fixed Asset Accounting
• Lease / Facilities accounting applying recent accounting guidance ASC 842
• Monthly/quarterly book close including analysis and journal entry prep
• Balance sheet reconciliations review and preparation
• Compliance reporting - SOX
• Work with internal and external auditors
• Build relationships with key business partners including finance and non-finance
• Pro-actively identify issues and offer solutions
• Special projects focused on continued improvement and efficiencies
• Work with offshore team members
• Translating Contract Terms to apply relevant Accounting Principles

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years in general accounting
• Undergraduate degree in accounting
• Oracle and TM-1 experience preferred
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Self-Starter
• Ability to multi-task and meet designated deadlines
• CPA/MBA Preferred #LI-PS1
