Financial Accounting and Reporting Specialist

Join a dynamic finance team on a mission to deliver outstanding results across the accounting value chain - from periodic account closing and statutory filing to process optimisation and ad-hoc projects.

You will join a diverse team of 8 finance professionals and report to Accounting Manager. In the immediate run, we would like you to support the team with

* monthly and annual account closings (including, but not limited to: calculation and posting of accruals, management of fixed assets, reconciliation of bank accounts, preparation of payroll entries)

* ongoing bookkeeping activities (posting of supplier invoices and preparation of employee expense and supplier payments, etc) and ensuring integrity of our accounts

* reconciliation of accounts between primary and secondary accounting tools

* preparation of tax and other statutory filings (monthly and other)

* support the local team and Group with the annual audit

We will also expect you to

* engage and develop strong working relationships with our internal (consulting teams, works council, Group, etc) and external (tax advisor, regulator, etc) stakeholders

* explore opportunities to streamline processes as we continuously strive to optimise our workflows

* contribute to ad-hoc projects (for instance, implementation of new accounting tools, etc)

We will count on you to be one of the pillars ensuring compliance with internal and external rules and requirements.

Desired skills

* Qualified/ part-qualified accountant with strong knowledge of French accounting (BTS Comptabilité-Gestion/ DCG)

* Exceptional attention to detail
