Financial Analyst 1

Job Description

The Financial Analyst I assists the Finance Department with the financial reporting, budgeting and overall analysis of the financial operations for the Locum Tenens Solutions business division.

Job Tasks:

• Assist with the preparation and analysis of internal financial statements
• Perform analysis of projected and actual results
• Assist with the preparation of annual and quarterly budgets and financial forecasts
• Assist with the development of financial and operational reports for management and the FP&A team
• Develop and maintain financial reporting tools
• Interact with other AMN departments in order to properly analyze the financial and operational performance

• Sales Operations
• Billing / Accounts Receivable
• Accounting
• FP&A team

Systems:

• Hyperion
• PeopleSoft
• Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook)
• Power BI (preferred, but not required)

Minimum Education/Certifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or equivalent combination of education and work experiences

Preferred Education/Certifications:

• In process towards obtaining Master's degree (in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration), CFA, CFP, CPA or other related certifications

Minimum Experience:

• 1 -2 years of work experience in financial analysis or related field

Preferred Experience:

• 2+ years of progressive financial analysis and business partnering experience
