Financial Analyst

Role Summary:

We are seeking a Financial Analyst to help propel Censys’ growth.  Reporting to the CFO, this role as a finance business partner, gives you the ability to impact management decisions, effectiveness and efficiency.  In addition, you will improve on and create new assets and methodologies as we continue to scale. Bonus points for financial data dashboarding, business intelligence tools and data visualization skills.

What You'll Do

• Develop, build, and maintain sophisticated financial models to improve performance, accountability, transparency, strategic planning, and forecasting of the company
• Annual and quarterly departmental Goal/KPI setting and tracking
• Perform monthly analysis of operational results, variance, goal attainment, as well as tracking key business metrics such as ave. ACV, CAC, retention analytics, sales efficiency. 
• Prepare and deliver standard reporting of these operational results and key metrics against goals, as well as delivering insights through additional analysis, to key stakeholders including the board, investors/creditors, management and employees.
• Own ARR calculation through direct enterprise, mid-market, marketplaces and channel partners, from global customers by working with the Revenue Operations team.  Coordinate with Customer Success and sales to track renewals, expansion, up- and cross-sell as well as churn.  Collaborate with Legal, Accounting and outside auditors to manage and reconcile ARR to deferred/GAAP revenue with SaaSOptics or another subscription management tool. 
• Be the point-person for the timely completion of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and 409a valuations

Who Will Succeed in this Role

• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills a must
• Technical skills in data dashboarding, BI tools, and reporting automation is valuable
• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, or equivalent field and practical experience
• 3-4 years of finance at high growth, venture-backed SaaS B-to-B companies required

Our target salary range for this role is between $125,000 USD and $145,000 USD + bonus eligibility and equity.

We are located in Ann Arbor, Michigan, however we are open to hiring this position fully remote, with travel opportunities to meet customers and connect with colleagues.
