Financial Analyst

Title:  Financial Analyst

Location: Dallas, Texas / Remote

Reports to: Director of Finance

The Role: 

The Financial Analyst (“FA”) will partner closely with the Corporate business leaders and their teams, as well as the finance team, to drive business unit objectives and provide financial planning and analysis services. The FA will be embedded in the Corporate team, providing strategic support by developing financial models and generating analytical insights to evaluate business opportunities. Duties for the FA will include budgeting, forecasting, headcount, investment request, and ad hoc analysis. Further, the FA will drive innovation to improve our planning and forecasting tools and processes.

LTK is growing at a significant pace, both in terms of people and revenue, which presents a great opportunity for the FA to help steward that growth and take on new challenges along the way.

Areas of Responsibility:

• Collaborate with CTO, CFO, and other Corporate leadership and finance team members to create high-quality financial forecasts, track financial and productivity performance, development of capital plans, and staffing analysis
• Provide decision support to leadership including analysis of historical trends, variance explanations, forecast/plan updates, and developing/reporting on key metrics
• Help drive special projects which will assist leaders in the organization to make key decisions
• Develop strategies and make recommendations for improving financial planning processes
• Work closely with the Director of Finance to outline and implement areas of improvement to P&L financial and business processes
• Assist with consolidation of LTK Profit & Loss Statement, along with supporting board and monthly financial review presentations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field
• 2+ years experience in finance or other related analytical experience
• Thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing, entrepreneurial environment
• Excellent verbal, presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills -- including the ability to communicate complex ideas to a lay audience
• Analytical, a problem solver, with strong attention to detail
• Excellent teamwork skills, with proven ability to work effectively in a variety of situations
• Ability to prioritize tasks, work well with little supervision, and manage a number of projects simultaneously
• Advanced Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint skills. Experience with other financial systems (current software is Adaptive). Willingness to become a subject matter expert in the systems used by the company
