ABOUT THE POSITION
The Financial Analyst will join our fast-growing Operations team to provide support to the VP of FP&A and SVP of Finance. This role will be an integral part of our Finance & Accounting team and will oversee daily financial operations including modeling, financial reporting, budget maintenance, and data analysis. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years experience in finance and accounting and is looking to start a new chapter with a fast-paced SaaS technology company. As an organized and skilled financial analyst, the goal will be to maintain our foundational financial functions and aid in our continued efficiency building and growth.
The position is based in our Cleveland, Ohio office and can be performed remotely when necessary. Applicants must hold U.S. citizenship or have permanent resident status.
RESONSIBILITIES
- Assist the Finance and Accounting team with financial reporting & analysis for the leadership team and company
- Maintain and improve financial forecasts, metrics dashboards, and other reports
- Learn and become an expert on Software-as-a-service (SaaS) or subscription accounting and financial reporting
- Evaluate and project key SaaS metrics including ARR, CAC, Net Retention, Rule of 40, etc…
- Build and track performance against budgets
- Create thoughtful reports and analysis for special projects or cross-functional initiatives
- Analyze data and financial information to provide helpful insight to assist in driving business outcomes
- Work closely with accounting to maintain accurate financial reporting
- Embrace and seek opportunities to improve process, efficiency and growth
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business, Finance, Accounting or Economics
- 1-2 years’ experience in finance, accounting, banking and/or consulting
- Strong organizational skills and time management
- Knowledgeable about financial statements and standard reporting
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite including Excel & PowerPoint
- Experience with financial reports and model building
- Familiarity with or eagerness to quickly learn about financial tools and systems like NetSuite and Salesforce
- Motivation to learn and improve
- Team player with positive attitude
- Adaptable to a fast-paced work environment
COMPENSATION
Salary will be commensurate with experience.
