Job Description
The Opportunity
Join our expanding Finance team as a Financial Analyst where you will provide key support to our executive team by analyzing performance trends and forecasting to inform business strategy. You will utilize your expertise to provide accurate, data-based information on Trimark’s profitability, solvency, stability, and liquidity.
The Team
This role reports to our Controller and works in close collaboration with our small team financial experts. You will also work closely with our executive team, Directors, and external stakeholders to achieve goals.
The Environment
This role is based at our corporate headquarter office in Folsom, CA. You can be successful in this role in an office-based or flex-based working arrangement. This role provides flexibility for up to two remote work days per week.
You will work in a controlled office under artificial lighting. You may be required to sit for extended periods of time using a keyboard and monitor display, lift up to 20lbs, and push/pull up to 50lbs. Some travel to other locations may be required.

Your Key Contributions
- Provide accurate and timely financial information and analysis to support management decision making, including analysis of current and past trends and unexpected variances in revenue, cost of sales, operating expenses and capital expenses, and key performance indicators.
- Regular/recurring reporting, including month-end financials, KPIs, analysis, work-in-progress (WIP), labor utilization, and actual vs. budget comparisons.
- Lead recurring and ad hoc planning exercises and develop and maintain analytical models to support these, including pipeline and backlog revenue forecasting, annual sales and revenue targets, annual headcount planning, annual departmental operating budgets, quarterly income and balance sheet forecasting, cash forecasting, strategic initiatives, etc.
- Improve performance by evaluating processes to drive efficiencies and understand the profit margin with respect to each project and product category, including analysis of direct costs for purposes of pricing projects and services, allocating costs to projects, etc.
- Assess the financial risk of Trimark’s key clients and vendors
- Investor analysis support: Assist in investor processes including due diligence, valuation analysis, modeling synergies, and integration planning.
- Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain complex financial models to evaluate various financial plans. This includes scenario analysis and sensitivity analysis to assess risks and opportunities.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze financial data and reports to provide actionable insights to senior management. Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial performance.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with different departments and stakeholders to gather information and align financial plans with business strategies.
- Investment Appraisal: Assess and appraise potential investment opportunities, providing detailed reports and recommendations.
- Assist and provide back-up to accounting with project setups, record changes and customer invoicing.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Traits for Success
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3-5+ years’ progressive growth in financial planning and analysis within the accounting function
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Advanced competency with MS Excel and PowerBI
- Experience working with NetSuite or major ERP System
- Experience with best practices for modeling, including valuations and conversion assumptions based on historical data
- Ability to develop productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Drive to work independently towards achievement of agreed outcomes
- Strong presentation, written, and verbal communication skills

Pay Transparency
This announcement is open to job levels II-III. The base pay range for this position is $75,000-110,000 annually, with starting salary typically falling in the mid-range for the level. This is an overtime Exempt position. Compensation is based on market rate, job level, job related knowledge, skills, experience, education, and certifications. This is a Full Time opportunity.
