Financial Analyst

This position is part of our Signal & Power Solutions segment; Connection Systems business unit.

Job Summary:

This position directly supports Consumer Connectivity NA operations in various financial activities. The analyst will report to the Controller and will perform tasks associated with monitoring financial performance across the business.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in budget, forecast and analysis of plant controllable costs
• Prepare month end journal entries
• Analyze all variance accounts (PPV/POV)
• Prepare product mix analysis
• Prepare actual vs. budget & forecast variance analysis and other needed management reporting analysis
• Coordinate with sales team to conduct quarterly part number pricing reviews to ensure pricing in SAP is current and correct, prepare necessary retro-pricing analysis and accrual journal vouchers. Coordinate with the shared services group to implement required pricing changes.
• Work with operational teams to ensure timely capitalization of assets.
• Support finance / operations activities when Controller is out of office

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting / Finance / Industrial engineering
• 2+ Years' experience in Finance, manufacturing operations activities
• Ability to demonstrate a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience with SAP

Additional Background Preferences:

• Master's degree in Business
• 5+ years' experience working in an manufacturing environment
• Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Project, Excel, Outlook, Skype, Teams, Visio, etc.)
• Ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization
• Strong results-orientation and execution characteristics
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with a strong ability to work with a team
• Ability to effectively organize, prioritize and accomplish multiple conflicting tasks, make intelligent, timely decisions and solve problems independently
• Resourcefully innovate and adapt in a rapidly changing environment
