Financial Analyst

JOB DESCRIPTION

This role is a key member of Adient Americas' FP&A team that has primary responsibility to develop the organization's short and long-term financial plans and to identify financial opportunities to improve the organization's profitability. The team is responsible for analysis and reporting of the actual results, as well as the annual Profit plan and Strategic plan and monthly Outlooks. In addition, the team also provides financial consulting and strategic support and profitability analysis to senior management, including financial presentations, capital expenditures analysis, industry / peer group comparisons, acquisition analysis, and other projects requested by senior management. This role reports to Director of Finance, FP&A Americas.

Primary Duties:

Assist consolidation and analysis of month/quarter/year end actual results, monthly Outlook, General Managers Activity Report (GMAR), Operational Review, Profit Plan, and Strategic Plan, including quarterly earning support and Balance Sheet reviews. Support monthly IHS volume / Sales per production days scenario analysis. FP&A regional lead to support various internal / external audit, compliance, HFM optimization activities. Manage monthly financial deliverable list and annul financial calendar (including scheduling and distribution of presentations for key reviews and meetings) Various adhoc and special project analytical support

Qualifications:

• BA/BS Degree in Finance or Accounting.
• One to three years of progressive finance and accounting experience is needed.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and organization skills.
• Attention to details and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work up, down, and across the organization effectively.
• Proficiency with MS Excel and other MS Office tools.
• Knowledge of financial systems such as HFM or SAP would be an asset.
