Job Description

We are seeking a Nashville, TN based Financial Analyst to join our GTO Finance Team.

The candidate will work in the Global Technology and Operations (GTO) Finance department which oversees the following functions for IT and Operations: Financial Statements, Cost Allocation, Budgeting and Forecasting, Time Tracking, Review of Financial Proposals

Our clients include the Head of Global Technology and Operations, the GTO executives and their managers, business users, Corporate Planning, and Corporate Accounting.

The key job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Serve as the financial liaison analyst for several GTO departments
  • Produce monthly financial review packages for the areas they will support and along with the corresponding variance analysis
  • Interface with Corporate Accounting group to make journal entries on our behalf
  • Manage the planning process for GTO managers they support
  • Address questions and follow-up points. This will included not only the operating expenses, but also our cost allocation process as well. We want the candidate to become well versed in our allocation process to be able to answer questions that arise.
  • Work with managers to prepare quarterly and year-end accruals
  • Review all IT related payments over a certain threshold to ensure appropriate coding.
  • Review of business cases to confirm the P&L impact
  • We are always looking for process efficiencies and welcome any feedback.

Job Qualifications (The ideal candidate should have the following):

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting
  • 3+ years of experience in financial analyst roles.
  • Strong understanding of budgeting and forecasting to include capital investments and operating expense P&L.
  • Excellent analytical, financial, technical skills and have a sharp eye for detail
  • Strong communication and proven ability to liaise with senior leaders to build strong relationships and work in a collaborative environment.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
