Financial Analyst

SUMMARY

The Financial Analyst will report directly to the Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis and actively partner

with him/her, the FP&A Senior Analyst, the Accounting team, and other functions to perform financial analyses to

help drive strategic decision-making and profitable growth for Buff City Soap.
 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Report on and analyze sales, financial and operational data
• Develop annual financial budgets and period results reports
• Create regular forecasts based on actual performance against budget
• Create financial models based on analyses to support organizational decision making
• Develop financial plans and reports for various functional stakeholders
• Analyze industry and competitive trends and make recommendations based on those trends
• Develop automated reporting and forecasting tools for more efficient use of data
• Performs other related duties as assigned

BASIC & PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline
• 0-3 years of professional experience in Corporate Finance, Consulting, Banking or Audit
• Advanced Excel skills required, knowledge and experience with Domo a plus
• Excellent organizational and collaboration skills and attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Basic understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & TRAVEL

• Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/ standing
• Constantly operates a computer or other office equipment
• Travel: Rarely (Less than 10%)
