How you will contribute to LifeNet Health's success:
The Financial Analyst functions as key analyst and advisor to LifeSciences, Research & Development, and National Donor Services teams, in addition to supporting occasional corporate development projects on an ad hoc basis. Responsible for building financial models and providing decision support to the leadership team while designing business processes for measuring results and isolating the impact of various initiatives. Works closely with all relevant stakeholders to support the annual operating plan and quarterly forecast exercises.
What you'll do:
- Financial Systems & Reporting: Leverage business intelligence tools to automate reports and processes and develops visual dashboards and presentations to communicate analysis results to senior leadership.
- Business Partnering: Provides decision support for the LifeSciences team, as well as National Donor Services and product development workstreams. This includes in-depth analysis regarding pricing proposals, new product costing, inventory management, go-to-market strategy, and capital events.
- Financial Planning: Supports key finance deliverables for the organization including the annual budget and quarterly forecast process. Works closely with business partners to understand and articulate performance drivers to the financial leadership team.
- Month End Analysist: Designs and maintains routine month end financial close functions, including master data validation, ensuring reporting data tables are accurately maintained, and checking automated report outputs.
- Financial Modeling: Performs ad hoc financial analysis to support corporate development functions. Drive simplification and automation of existing finance and business processes.
What you'll bring (Minimum Requirements):
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2 years experience Financial Planning and Analysis or Data Analysis
Preferred
- Master's degree
- Experience with SAP ERP or PowerBI / Tableau reporting tools
These would be nice too (Knowledge Skills and Abilities):
- Proficient in MS Office, PowerPoint, Work, Outlook, Microsoft Suite and Advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Computer Skills: Build analytical tools in Excel using VBA preferred.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to plan, implement and monitor tasks and assignments effectively.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate and build relationships with all professionals at different levels within the organization.
- Time Management: Able to prioritize multiple, competing priorities and manage time/workload. Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize and juggle multiple time sensitive projects, multi-task, identify project interdependencies and potential risks/pitfalls while maintaining a sense of focus and urgency.
- Attention to Detail: Able to perform tasks thoroughly and with care; checks work to ensure high degree of accuracy/completeness and early/on-time delivery
