Financial Analyst

Lucas Group, a Korn Ferry Company, has partnered with an oil and gas client on the West side of Houston in their search for a Financial Analyst. This is a 6+ month contract engagement and is located 100% in office in West Houston.

Responsibilities

• Interface with traders and schedulers for problem resolution and consistency
• Interface with pipeline terminals, truck/rail carriers, and inspection companies to obtain bill of ladings or reports
• Timely and accurately processing product or secondary cost invoices
• Develop relationships with third party vendors
• Interface with the regulator group
• Work with the billing analyst and movement capture analyst
• Work with inventory and exchange group to resolve discrepancies
• Reconciling vendor invoices to Right Angle

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business-related Field

Preferred

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Proficient in SAP and SolArc Right Angle
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to influence others without direct supervision
• Desire to learn new ideas and concepts
• Self-starter that is goal oriented
• Strong, positive attitude with good organizational skills
• Able to build relationships and serve as a resource with external and internal business partners
