Basic Function:
The Financial Analyst will ensure the accurate and timely preparation and analysis of account reconciliations, purchase price variance and margin analysis on a monthly basis. This position will be a key partner to communicate, collaborate and support accounting and business unit managers in the Aftermarket group.

Essential Duties:
- Apply intellect, creativity, adaptability, judgment, and management skills to achieve required results
- Ensure duties and company projects are accomplished in an efficient and cost effective manner
- Support peers and management with internal and external projects
- Validate and distribute daily new order input, shipments and backlog information
- Monitor payables and other accounts for accuracy
- Prepare and analyze purchase price variance and product margins
- Responsible for the update of Aftermarket standard costs
- Process and enter monthly standard, payroll and intercompany journal entries
- Review Department Spending reports with department heads on a monthly basis
- Analyze warranty, (RMA) return material authorization and (SDA) service department authorization expenses
- Backup for Aftermarket invoicing process
- Assist in forecasting and budgeting process
- Flexibility to work on special projects and unexpected events while completing routine tasks on a timely basis
- Perform other duties as requested or assigned
Education Required:
Minimum of an undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, business or related field
Experience Required:
- Minimum of two years of experience with financial analysis, financial reporting, or accounting
- Financial systems experience
- Proficiency in MS Office applications with expert knowledge of Excel
Physical Skill and Effort: Limited manual dexterity required
Working Conditions and Hazards: Office environment
