Job Summary:

The Analyst role in the Operations & Technology Finance Department will perform comprehensive financial analyses, consolidation, reporting, trending, and reconciliation tasks. You will produce and deliver meaningful, accurate, actionable, and timely financial analysis to managers at various levels of the organization. The ideal candidate has a strong desire to fully own and speak to critical deliverables involving monthly financial results and resource forecasting. The analyst is expected to develop strong relationships with finance teams, drive process improvements and execute ad-hoc analysis with confidence. This position will report directly to the Finance VP.

Major Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the budget and forecast process, including associated analysis of financial results, developing financial summaries, and presentation to senior management.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders in corporate FP&A, OTA Finance teams, controllers, sourcing, and A/P on finance topics such as budgeting, forecasting, accruals, etc.
  • Improve and establish financial governance as needed for reporting and annual budgeting
  • Support and assist with System of America reporting, track Fix the Bank activity and Symphony One-Time costs
  • Provide written analysis and interpretation of results.
  • Maintain a close understanding of business risks and opportunities.
  • Establish financial assumptions and critical decision variables.
  • Responsible for month end close including variance explanations, accruals, and reclasses.

Qualifications:
  • BS/BA in Finance, Business or Accounting required, and 2-4 years of experience as a Financial Analyst OR equivalent, comparable experience.
  • Strong financial and business quality skills, and good understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Advanced Technical Skills in Excel, and an ability to creatively design and develop spreadsheet or report formats for self and others. Working knowledge of Power Point, and knowledge/experience with Hyperion.
  • Solid communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Operational budgeting experience desired.
