Finance & Accounting Department:
The Finance and Accounting Department mission is to drive achievement of the company’s financial goals and corporate strategic initiatives by providing insights and headlights into the financial and operational well-being of the company. In addition, the Department is responsible for maintaining control of the Company’s financial operations and compliance.
Purpose:
Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Financial Planning &Analysis (FP&A), the Financial Analyst, FP&A will play an essential role in reporting and analyzing the company’s operational and financial performance. The position will also be a major contributor to corporate planning, and will work with departmental leadership to forecast future performance. The role requires an individual who is detail-oriented, comfortable working with large datasets, and experienced in developing and maintaining robust reports, planning models, and analysis. The Financial Analyst position will provide the right individual with a unique opportunity to be involved in all aspects of the business, make significant contributions to the growth of the enterprise, and have regular exposure to the CFO and senior executive team.
Areas of Accountability:
- Corporate Metrics Reporting – retrieve financial, sales, and operating data from across the organization and various data systems to publish an array of monthly reports to the senior leadership team (SaaS metrics, customer bookings and counts, headcount, operational metrics, etc…)
- Monthly Business Reviews – develop and implement monthly financial reporting packages customized to each department, and take leadership of reviewing results with departmental leadership to identify/track/understand underlying trends
- Work with department leaders to create and continuously refine reports and provide strategic insights to help make well-informed decisions and recommendations
- Provide regular summaries, analysis and insights of current or forecasted results and key performance indicators, and the go-forward impact on the business.
- Execute ad hoc analyses to support decision-making, evaluate business initiatives, or to evaluate performance.
Competencies for Success:
- Keen analytic and problem-solving skills which allows for strategic data interpretation versus simple reporting; comfortable manipulating and analyzing large volumes of data.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; experience in effectively communicating key data and findings, including presentations to departmental managers and senior management.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment; strong project management skills and ability to multi-task is essential; sense of urgency and ability to get things done.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or quantitative field.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of analyst experience with emphasis in financial modeling, analysis, and reporting
- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Strong ability to develop complex financial models (IS, BS, CF, and sensitivity analysis), reports, and analyses using spreadsheet macros, formulas, and functions.
- Experience with Corporate Performance Management systems such as Adaptive Insights, Hyperion, Planful, Anaplan, Netsuite, etc., and strong appitude to learn new systems and reporting/planning tools.
At Integrated Practice Solutions, we carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors to determine our offers of employment. This includes internal and external market factors as well as your individual experience and skills. These considerations can cause compensation to vary but we reasonably expect to pay between $49,450-$85,000 for this position.
