Job Description

The Travel Solutions Portfolio Manager is critical in executing and planning the product vision for our Airline IT and Distribution products. As part of the Product Business Operations team, the Portfolio Manager will document the annual product plan, facilitate discussions as adjustments are needed, track performance against that plan monthly and forecast an annual view. The Portfolio Manager will help meet Accounting and Audit requirements through CAPEX Assessments, monthly AUC reviews and project setup. The position will serve as a crucial support to the Travel Solutions Product Managers and Portfolio Leaders - helping them understand where their investment dollars are going and insights to help drive decision making.

With an understanding of the portfolio life cycle stages and how they relate to the overall investment - this role owns the product investment portfolio and release roadmap. An understanding of portfolio prioritization, trade-off scenarios and capacity planning are critical to this position.

The Portfolio Manager closely collaborates with product development, finance and accounting, contributing to Sabre's long term investment strategy. They comprehend Sabre's capitalization policy and how it relates to our products' investment strategy.

Role Responsibilities

• Annual Investment Planning
• Monthly R&D Forecast
• Actuals Cost Reporting
• Portfolio Framework Maintenance
• Manage Audit and Accounting Activities related to R&D projects
• Creating and managing internal project codes
• Partner to support quarterly planning

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years in accounting, finance or investment planning
• Microsoft Office Excel fluency
• R&D portfolio management experience
• Ability to lead and direct multiple projects and products simultaneously
• Analytical thinker, ability to see patterns, quick on your feet and decisive
• Airline IT or similar industry a plus
• Confident in managing up
• Team work and communication skills across multiple disciplines
