Financial Analyst

Tarkett has an exciting opening for a Financial Analyst in our Solon, OH Headquarters. Reporting to the FP&A Director, the Financial Analyst will work closely with all functional areas of the business working to provide reporting, analysis and insights aimed at continually improving the organizations performance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Analyzing monthly/quarterly/annual financial information and generating reports with BI software/tools to provide accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis to division management for decision making purposes

• Compile and publish daily and monthly sales reporting

• Assist with creation and maintenance of financial reports and entity specific P&Ls

• Monitoring performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance, identify areas of improvement

• Preparing Quarterly and Monthly Financial reports, and Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis

• Supporting Manager, Controllers, Costs Accountants and other Analysts with in-depth analysis

• Work along with supervisor to prepare month internal review decks for Steering Committee meetings and Business Unit review decks

• Building strong cross-functional partnerships to serve as a financial reporting and analysis resource, supporting operations, procurement, human resource, communications, and other departments providing business insights and improve business processes

• Support in budget and forecast preparation for the division

• Completion of ad-hoc requests and projects as required

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelors of Science degree in accounting, finance, or related field

• 2+ years’ experience as a financial analyst
