The Team Culture

The Finance team is the backbone of Jellysmack. We keep everything running smoothly. Thorough accounting, employee payroll, and financial controlling are our specialties. No one here is a stereotypical boring accountant: we're fun, outgoing, and laid back.

The Role and Responsibilities

• Provide analytical, forecasting, and reporting to management for Jellysmack's FinTech Business Unit (JellyFi) and Owned & Operated content.
• Assist with annual and quarterly budgeting and forecasting processes
• Assist with developing financial models and addressing ad hoc requests to provide actionable insights
• Provide business insights on the monthly and quarterly results versus plan and forecast

Requirements

A Little Bit About You

• 2-3 years of proven work experience as a Financial Analyst or similar role in tech, media advertising, banking
• Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• Proficient experience with Excel-based models or reporting system
• Understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning systems (ERP)
• Understanding of relational databases
• Excellent analytical skills
• Experience with Looker or similar tool
• Proficient in PowerPoint
• Prior experience creating reports using Power Query/Power Pivot is a plus
• French speaking a plus
