Financial Analyst
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Financial Analyst with 1-3 years of relevant experience to join our team in a remote capacity. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, financial acumen, and the ability to provide actionable insights to support strategic decision-making. Reporting to our Head of Financial Planning and Business Intelligence, this person will be responsible for conducting financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and providing recommendations to improve financial performance and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed financial analysis to assess the company's financial performance, including revenue, expenses, cost of goods sold and profitability.
- Develop financial models and forecasts to support strategic planning and decision-making processes.
- Analyze financial data and trends to identify variances, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
- Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process by providing accurate and timely financial information.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data, insights, and recommendations for improving financial performance.
- Utilize Power BI, Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant tools to create compelling data visualizations and presentations.
- Monitor key financial metrics and KPIs to track performance against targets and goals.
- Support ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as needed.
- Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in financial analysis and reporting.
- Demonstrated passion for data analysis and financial modeling.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in financial analysis or related roles.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, and financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote, fast-paced environment.
