Role Description and Mission:

The Financial Analyst within the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team is critical to the corporate business functions within the Agero organization. The person in this role will lead the Operating expense reporting and budgeting for our Corporate functions (Technology, HR, Strategy, etc.). This person will be responsible for the budgeting and forecasts for the functions that they own. They will also partner with Accounting during month end processes, monthly budget vs actual analysis, and business partnership with department leaders. The Financial Analyst will report to the Sr Manager of FP&A. Our office is located in Medford, MA with the opportunity to work remotely if desired. This position can be worked remotely but candidate may be asked to come on site for occasional events/leadership meetings.

Key Outcomes:

• Lead the Operating expense reporting and budgeting for our Corporate functions (Technology, HR, Strategy, etc.)    
• Partner with Accounting during month end processes, monthly budget vs actual analysis, and business partnership with department leaders    
• Build relationships with senior department heads to handle budgeting and forecasting
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation within the FP&A department 
• Use Excel/Google sheets for financial modeling 
• Specialty projects as needed

Skills, Experience, Education

• 2-5+ years of experience in a financial analyst role covering budgeting and forecasting
• Excellent history of cross functional interaction including but not limited to technology, corporate controller, financial reporting, contact/call centers, product development, delivery operations, legal, customer relations and sales
• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience 
• Detail oriented, organized, conscientious, strong written and oral communication skills, and strong analytical ability
• Strong financial modeling capability
• Prophix Planning & Analysis tool experience is a plus
