Your Opportunity
An opportunity exists for a Financial Analyst with strong multi-tasking, interpersonal and organizational skills. As a key member of the Financial Services team and business partner with operations, the Financial Analyst will provide financial expertise in the day-to-day operations of financial reporting adding value to the company.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Conducting earned value (PRA) reviews on selected projects
- Work with Business Centre Leadership to identify and report on projects with financial risk
- Reviewing draft financial statements, performing analysis and completing reconciliations
- Reviewing and reporting to Business Centre leadership and Regional Leaders the period end financial results and following up on any questions
- Helping Leadership manage WIP and AR, including monthly WIP and AFDA reviews
- Supporting Project Managers by reviewing projects to determine where future provisions will be recorded and taking the appropriate action
- Providing detailed accounting analysis required by Project Managers
- Prepare PowerPoint presentation for financial reporting packages, budgets and forecasts
- Supporting business leaders in the development of the annual operating and capital budgets and completion of shared service cost center budgets
- Ensuring compliance with company policies, practices and procedures
Your Capabilities and Credentials

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, or related field with a minimum of 2 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
- Professional accounting designation or working towards preferred.
