The Financial Analyst will be responsible for supporting Notified's FP&A team as we continue to build a robust team to support the growing business. The Financial Analyst is expected to collaborate with finance and business teams to understand underlying performance drivers, and deliver timely and accurate business performance reporting. The Financial Analyst will also be a key partner in the annual budgeting, monthly close, and forecasting processes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Produce, maintain, and help automate financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual deliverables for key stakeholders
- Partner with Notified business to support the annual budgeting, monthly close, and forecasting process for all aspects of the P&L (Revenue, COS, SG&A)
- Report variance drivers with thoughtful insight into business results
- Support business decisions with financial modeling
Minimum Qualifications
Education
- Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university required with major course work in accounting, finance, business administration or a related field required. Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirements.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years accounting or finance experience required.
- Minimum 1 year experience in a public accounting environment preferred.
Other
- Strong financial analysis skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
Compensation will be commensurate with experience. The starting pay for this position in New York City is between $60,000 - $70,000 annually.
