The Financial Analyst is integral to the Finance team and will be involved in day-to-day finance operations, sales reporting, financial planning, and analysis. Responsibilities include preparing monthly management reports, calculating quarterly sales commissions, and writing searches in NetSuite and Salesforce. The Financial Analyst is accountable for maintaining a sales and revenue model designed to enhance the accuracy of the company's financial results. The candidate will support the organization’s financial goals and help establish business partnerships cross-functionally.

In this role, you will:

  • Create, maintain, and improve the annual sales and revenue budget
  • Calculate and analyze various SaaS metrics, including ARR and NRR
  • Support monthly close analyses and identify variances to budget
  • Assist with sales compensation plans, commission calculations, and quarterly statements
  • Validate and improve current reports and dashboards

You are:

  • An excellent writer and communicator who can articulate complex analyses clearly and concisely across all levels of the organization
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with a knack for managing multiple deadlines and priorities
  • A strong problem-solver who finds simple and effective solutions for improving reporting and processes
  • Passionate about learning and continuously seeking opportunities to expand your knowledge
  • A self-starter with the desire to work both independently and cross-functionally as part of a team
  • Discrete and able to listen, analyze and inform appropriately while maintaining the required sensibilities in handling confidential information

On your resume:

  • 2-4 years of relevant experience, preferably at a SaaS company
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Advanced Excel skills (experience analyzing large data sets, developing models, and creating complex formulas and pivot tables)
  • Experience with NetSuite or a comparable ERP System
  • Salesforce (CRM), Looker (BI tool), CaptivateIQ (commission software), or Adaptive Planning (financial reporting system) experience is a plus
