Purpose:
The Financial Analyst for Financial Planning & Analysis will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and analysis of quarterly results as well as the annual planning and quarterly forecasting for Athene.

Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or an equivalent combination of education and experience.• CPA, CFA or MBA designation a plus.• Life and Annuity Insurance experience preferred.• Analysis experience, emphasis in asset or liability analysis a plus.• Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.

Purpose:
The Financial Analyst for Financial Planning & Analysis will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and analysis of quarterly results as well as the annual planning and quarterly forecasting for Athene.
Accountabilities:
- Assist with the preparation and analysis of quarterly results with a focus on the cost of funds.
- Assist with the written commentary variance reporting at both the detailed and executive summary levels.
- Conduct quarterly and annual actual-to-plan variance analysis on income statement line items.
- Assist with the preparation and analysis of the consolidated quarterly forecast results, including the development of the planning and forecasting documents and presentation decks.
- Suggest and implement planning and forecasting process improvements.
- Assist with the planning, forecasting, and variance messaging for Athene's executive leadership team.
- Participate in ad hoc financial analysis projects.
